The "Failed to copy EA files to Metatrader folder"! error message is usually displayed whenever a user tries to update the EA files from VTC while the MT4io EA is still running (attached to chart) or metatrader still holds an active file lock on the MT4io3.dll file.
The easiest way around this problem is to remove MT4io EA from your chart and restart metatrader (if the EA has already been removed, a restart of metatrader terminal will suffice).
After MT4 is restarted, the "Update EA" procedure can be successfully done from VTC.
